About Root Canals

A root canal can save an injured or diseased tooth, preserving the structural integrity of your bite. During this treatment an opening is made through the crown of the tooth and the diseased inner part of the tooth is extracted. This inner chamber is then shaped, filled, and sealed, the entire tooth is then covered with a crown to restore it to its original shape and size.
